Services and queues

What people queue for. Each service has its own line, hours and ticket letter.

Add a service

  1. Go to Services and press Add service.
  2. Name it the way people would say it: “Reception”, “Cashier”, “GP consultation”, “Dining room”.
  3. Pick the locations it runs at, its opening hours and its ticket letter (tickets read A001, A002…).
  4. Choose which desks and rooms serve it, and how many people each can see at once.

How people get in

ChoiceWhat it means
Walk-in onlyPeople join the line now, at the kiosk, with the QR code or at reception.
Appointments onlyPeople book a time, then check in when they arrive.
BothPeople can join now or book a time.

With appointments on, set the slot length and how many people can book the same slot. You can take payment when people book; see Payments in the menu.

Wait for payment before calling

Turn on Wait for payment before they can be called for a service such as a consultation. Anyone who joins without having paid is shown as Awaiting payment: desks list them below everyone else and Call next skips them. When the cashier presses Mark paid (or your records system says the bill is paid) they take their place in line by the time they arrived.

Queues open each day

Every service gets a fresh queue each day it is open. Ticket numbers start again at 001. Pausing a queue stops new people joining and tells those waiting; resuming lets them in again.
