Desks and rooms
Where staff sit to call people: counters, desks, consulting rooms and chairs.
Service points and desks
In Desks & rooms, a service point is a place people are called to, such as “Reception” or “Consulting rooms”. Each one has a number of desks: one per counter, window or room that can be staffed at the same time.
- Press Add, name the service point and choose its location.
- Set how many desks it has. Desks are numbered, or you can name each one (“Room 3”, “Window B”).
- In each service’s settings, tick the service points that serve it.
Staff sign in to a desk
When a member of staff opens My desk, they choose the desk they are sitting at. Their calls go to that desk, and the display screen tells people where to go. If someone else is signed in to that desk, Klargy asks before taking it over.
In a clinic, each doctor signs in to their consulting room. With a records system connected, doctors pick their room once after signing in to it, and the call comes from the encounter.
Rooms and floor plans
Restaurants, salons and venues also get Rooms: dining rooms, terraces or treatment rooms with their tables or chairs, rules and rates. Arrange tables on the floor plan and move a booking from one room to another; Klargy tells you if that changes the price.
