Patient flow
Join services into a journey so people move from one stop to the next without queuing again.
What a flow does
A flow says where each service can send people next. When a desk presses Send on, the person’s visit continues at the next service, keeping their place in the story of the visit. They get a new ticket and a message, and their status page shows where to go.
The menu calls it Patient flow, Guest flow or Customer flow, depending on the kind of place you chose in Settings.
Start from a template
- Open the flow designer and choose the location.
- Press Use a template and pick one, such as Outpatient clinic.
- Klargy creates whatever is missing (services, desks and connections) and reuses anything with the same name. Applying it again changes nothing.
| Outpatient clinic | Can send people to |

| Pharmacy | Nowhere: the visit ends |
Change it in the designer
- Drag from one service to another to connect them, or use the Connections drawer.
- Select a service to change it, or a connection to remove it.
- Press Tidy up to lay the flow out again. On a phone the flow reads top to bottom.
People moving themselves on
Once someone has been seen at a stop, their status page offers I’m done here. They can pick one of the next steps the flow allows from that service, or I’m leaving. Only steps in the flow are offered, and a step that waits for payment still does.
